Producing Sustainable Roller Compacted Concrete by Using Fine Recycled Concrete Aggregate

One-third of the total waste generated in world is construction and demolition waste. Reducing life cycle building materials includes increasing their recycling reuse by using recycled aggregates. By preventing, need to open new aggregate quarries reducing amount dumped into landfills, use concrete drum compacted protects environment. Four samples PRCC were prepared for testing (compressive strength, tensile flexural density, water absorption, porosity) as reference mix (10, 15, 20%) fine a partial replacement natural volume. The designed according (ACI 327-15) with specified cylinder compressive strength (28 MPa). results showed decrease mechanical properties an increase compared mixture absorption porosity at 28 days. This because old cement mortar on surfaces aggregates leads higher than At 90 days, improved slightly. due non-aqueous aggregate.
